We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care within regulatory requirements and perform a broad range of non-patient related tasks to support the department and staff.
  • Clean and set up the patient treatment area, move patients, and perform clerical duties.
  • Assist in training and mentoring colleagues and perform more complicated administrative functions, such as patient scheduling and check-in/out.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a demanding work environment and organize multiple priorities to complete work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Professional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service, and community relations.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend requirements.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $26.03 to $32.52.
