**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized Physician Liaison Coordinator to join our team at Ohio Gastroenterology Group Inc. As a Physician Liaison Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating physician schedules, scheduling appointments, and following up on orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize physician schedule efficiency
  • Schedule appointments and follow up on orders
  • Review tasks and documents for timely completion
  • Fax prescriptions and obtain authorization as needed
  • Work patient specialty procedure recalls and review charts in EMR
  • Discharge patients and provide clinical summaries
  • Enter patient kiosk forms into EMR and practice charting methods
  • Take patient phone calls and document communication
  • Travel to satellite offices as required

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Attend office meetings and in-service training
  • Cross-train in other areas such as medical records and front desk
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information using HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years' experience in a medical environment preferred

Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $70,000 per year
