Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

At Communicare Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights
  • Manage data sets to ensure they are clean, accurate, and secure
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions
  • Train end-users on BI tools and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and maintain BI systems to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Over 5 years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
  • Expertise in SQL queries, SSRS, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including DAX
  • 3-4 years of experience with self-service tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • 3-5 years of healthcare data experience (claims, quality, encounters)
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP function, pivot tables, charts, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and guidelines

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Work Environment:

As a Business Intelligence Developer at Communicare Health Services, you will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and time-sensitive tasks. You may be required to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and holidays, and may require occasional overnight travel for field-based assignments.

Physical demands include the ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Mental demands include the ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with staff and support agencies.
