Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans
  • Define sequences of events, develop text and graphics work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material
  • Communicate with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts
  • Coordinate change incorporation, optimize processes, address producibility issues, production & postproduction problems
  • Demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan
Requirements
  • Ability to interrogate and drill down into specifications to determine torque values
  • Understanding of the bill of material, routing, and inspection processes
  • Phase 2: 777-8F or 737 Fuselage-General manufacturing engineering work. Specification plans, bill of material, routing, tooling requests, liaison, and shop floor support
