About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician II to join our team in an Intake PRN position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the department by responding to telephone inquiries from individuals seeking psychiatric healthcare or information about psychiatric-related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric, substance abuse assessments, and/or commitment evaluations for patients with significant mental health symptoms.
  • Implement clinical interventions in individual, group, or family sessions, as needed.
  • Coordinate involuntary commitment processes for patients who meet established criteria.
  • Ensure good communication by reporting to community/state agencies as required by law.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Ph.D. in Psychology.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years post-graduate experience in mental health.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ph.D. Psychologist, or other appropriate licensure.
