Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Line Worker to join our Operations team at Nutraceutical. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing machine operation and production duties following established procedures in the bottling department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and prepare filled bottles for packing and shipping.
  • Replenish packaging supplies such as bottles, lids, boxes, shrink wrap or labels, and set up machines with correct lids, bottles, labels, and product.
  • Operate machinery with ability to make minor adjustments or repairs, and start, stop, or regulate speed of conveyor.
  • Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process, and ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
  • Record information, such as batch code, time, and date packaged, and maintain accurate count, label placement, batch codes, and lids for each bottle.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
