Your ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview:
The Clinical Nurse II will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute tailored care plans for assigned patients. This role encompasses a range of professional nursing duties, utilizing both psychomotor and cognitive skills appropriate to the patient's age and condition. Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, planning, intervention, and advocacy for patients throughout their care journey. The nurse will also evaluate patient outcomes, assess the effectiveness of care plans, and make necessary adjustments or referrals. Additionally, this position serves as a mentor and role model for new nurses and students, and may take on the role of Patient Care Coordinator as needed.

Essential Qualifications:
- At least six months of nursing experience
- A minimum of one year in a direct patient care role within a psychiatric setting
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification within 30 days of hire
- All external candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Capability to maintain an appropriate work pace in relation to workload
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards
- Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with patients and families
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
