Position Title: PhD Researcher in Robotic Systems Control

Organization: SDSU Research Foundation

The SDSU Research Foundation is on the lookout for an enthusiastic PhD researcher with a robust foundation in control systems and robotics to become a part of our innovative team. This role provides a competitive stipend along with tuition assistance for eligible candidates. The selected individual will engage in academic research, conduct experimental analyses, perform programming tasks, and produce scholarly reports and publications.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Duties Include:

  • Conducting academic research
  • Performing experimental analyses
  • Engaging in programming tasks
  • Developing software and hardware tools
  • Producing scholarly reports and publications

Qualifications

Essential Education & Experience

  • Completion of adequate upper division coursework
  • OR - Equivalent of two years of full-time progressively responsible experience in a related field in lieu of coursework.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Significant experience in control systems and robotics.
  • Strong proficiency in mathematics.
