We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures using ultrasound equipment to detect pathology and send images to PACS.
- Regulate equipment to produce high-quality images and ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Assist in the daily operation of the Ultrasound Department and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Report to the Supervisor and contribute to the overall success of the department.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Sonography or Ultrasonography.
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Vascular Sonography certification within 60 months of employment start date.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including interventional and therapeutic care, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We are a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level II Trauma Center, and a CARF-accredited Physical Rehabilitation Center.
