Architectural Design Professional

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join our team at Selectek. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating technical and shop drawings, interpreting architectural drawings, and working closely with other team members to analyze and solve design issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret architectural drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare technical and shop drawings, including details and specifications
- Work in a profitable and timely manner, adhering to company standards
- Interpret field takeoffs, measurements, and information obtained, making modifications as needed
- Collaborate with the design team to analyze and solve design issues
- Maintain multiple projects simultaneously, keeping up with revisions from initiation to completion
- Follow computer processes and procedures, attending client meetings as required
- Maintain a draw and build standard option library
- Possess a high degree of passion, drive, and knowledge to achieve creative results
Requirements:
- 5 years of architectural design drafting experience
- Proficient software skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sketchup
- Knowledge of industry terminology and standard construction methods/material
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective communication
- 3D visual interpretation of construction situations
- Ability to work well with others and follow directions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Dedicated and trustworthy individual with attention to detail
