Transforming Product Experiences

RingCentral is seeking a Senior Content Designer - Product to join our global product design team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive product experiences that delight our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling product copy that simplifies complex concepts for our users.
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive product experiences.
  • Conduct content research projects to understand user communication needs and inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Contribute to our product content style guide, terminology database, and design system, driving the adoption of content standards across the company.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with content leaders in other divisions to ensure a cohesive content experience across the company.
  • Coach and mentor junior content designers to help them grow in their careers and serve as a subject matter expert to the broader UX team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in English, journalism, media studies, communications, marketing, creative writing, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of experience as a UX writer, content strategist, or content designer for software products.
  • Proven track record of outstanding writing and editing skills and developing end-to-end content experiences.
  • Deep understanding of human-centered design practices and the role of content in the design process.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with different flavors, from explorative initiatives to clearly defined projects that move fast.
  • Experience developing and communicating strategic content decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders across practice areas, particularly those with approaches and perspectives different from your own, to craft effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, user research, benchmarking, and content audits to facilitate content decisions and deployment.
  • Leadership skills, with a willingness to mentor and coach junior team members to help them grow both professionally and as a person.

If you are hired in Denver, Colorado or Belmont, California, the compensation range for this position is between $107,100 and $180,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
