Community Outreach Liaison

The Community Outreach Liaison at PACE Southeast Michigan plays a pivotal role in fostering strong connections with community resources to generate referrals. This position involves participating in strategic marketing initiatives, supporting business development, and establishing robust relationships with referral sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointments, presentations, and follow-ups to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Report on customer interactions and maintain a sales log to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and event logistics.
  • Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including preparing press releases, newsletters, and event announcements.
  • Assist the Intake department in qualifying new participants and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Recognize and escalate issues as needed to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Organize tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with marketing/sales experience and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of one-year work experience with the elderly, with a focus on building relationships and driving growth.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and maintain confidentiality.
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on community outreach and business development.
  • Flexibility in working hours and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel as needed.
