Minnesota Urology P.A. is currently in search of a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) specializing in urology, particularly with a focus on female urology. This role entails a well-rounded mix of clinical duties and hospital-based urology, which includes conducting hospital consultations, managing post-operative patients, assisting in surgeries, and participating in some weekend rounds.
As the largest independent urology practice in the Upper Midwest, Minnesota Urology prides itself on providing specialized care for both male and female patients dealing with complex urologic conditions. Our team comprises 70 highly skilled physicians and advanced practice providers committed to enhancing patient health through tailored and innovative medical care.
This APP role offers the chance to work closely with a collaborative team of 10 Urologists and 6 Advanced Practice Providers. The position is designed to promote professional development while ensuring a healthy work-life balance, featuring a 4-day work week.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota.
- National board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Authorization to prescribe in Minnesota and DEA registration.
- Preferred prior experience in CCU, ICU, hospital, or clinic settings as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in Urogynecology or Female Urology is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our Advanced Practice Providers receive a competitive base salary that reflects their training and experience. Additional compensation is available for limited weekend rounding duties. We provide a comprehensive benefits package aimed at promoting work-life balance and professional growth, which includes paid time off, recognized holidays, CME reimbursement, extensive insurance options (medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life), contributions to health savings accounts, and a 401k/profit-sharing plan with employer contributions.
