The Boeing Company is seeking a Structures Mechanic Specialist to contribute to our operations.Key Responsibilities:


- Execute precise drilling, reaming, and installation tasks on critical support structures and fracture-critical areas.
- Identify blind holes essential for the integration of new structural components.
- Conduct sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation of structures in line with standard repair protocols.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications to perform structural modifications and repairs.
- Utilize tooling assemblies and fixtures for the modification and repair of structural components.
- Apply knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair procedures.
- Assess the functionality of basic electrical systems.
- Employ various aircraft tools, including test equipment and torque wrenches.

- Access aircraft data through computer systems and initiate parts and discrepancy requests.
- Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned tasks.
- Safely navigate vertical work ladders, confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to meet cost and schedule objectives.

This position requires on-site work and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, necessitating US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience with non-porous metals such as aluminum and titanium.
- Proficient in working with schematics, specifications, and assembly drawings.
- Experienced in using hand tools for structural work.
- Capable of handling heavy structures and performing drilling and fastening tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in Depot Level/Heavy Structures maintenance.
- Familiarity with Executive Fleet aircraft maintenance and operations.
- Experience operating forklifts and mobile cranes.
