Your Role:

As the Structures Maintenance Lead, you will be crucial in ensuring the peak performance and dependability of our Structures Mechanics team. You will guide a talented group of technicians and specialists, managing the maintenance task allocation for assigned Mechanics while upholding our advanced equipment standards. Your leadership and technical knowledge will be vital in ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of our clients' aircraft, all while adhering to FAA regulations and policies.

  • Assess daily work priorities based on scheduling and available workforce. Delegate tasks to qualified mechanics and technicians according to the specific work requirements, ensuring that all technical documentation, blueprints, and specifications are comprehensively understood.
  • Offer technical guidance to Mechanics and Technicians on particular assignments as needed to guarantee that all maintenance is executed accurately, resulting in a high-quality, airworthy product.
  • Train new personnel on applicable safety protocols and quality workmanship standards relevant to their roles. Reinforce the highest standards of safety and quality workmanship among all team members.
  • Oversee the progress of daily assignments to ensure adherence to the schedule and identify any issues—documenting tasks that were planned and assigned but could not be completed.
  • Collaborate with core team members to review workflow, pinpoint areas of concern, and assist the Supervisor in developing strategies to address challenges that may affect the aircraft schedule.
  • Work alongside the Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance is performed accurately and documented appropriately, in line with all relevant company, customer, and FAA standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in heavy commercial maintenance.
  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
