About the Role

As an HVAC Technician at Jefferson Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' HVAC systems. Under the general direction of the HVAC lead, you will install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems to identify and resolve problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with the HVAC lead and other team members to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in industrial/institutional HVAC maintenance work required.
  • Building automation controls, pneumatics, and hospital experience desired.
  • High school or vocational school graduate; trades apprenticeship completion desired.
  • Controls training a plus.
  • Sense of responsibility; subject to alternating shift work.
  • On-Call Ability to perform a variety of activities according to specific assignments.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Must possess a driving record free from major violations within the past five years, and maintain an acceptable driving record with no major violations in accordance with Motor Vehicle Regulations and Abington - Jefferson Health's auto insurance policy in order to operate an Abington - Jefferson Health owned vehicle.
Conditions of Employment

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
