Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller to join our team at Tompkins Community Bank. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients in a warm and welcoming manner, using their name and thanking them for their business.
  • Assist clients with their financial needs, ensuring that transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Help build relationships with clients by connecting them with other team members who can assist with their financial needs.
  • Work under close supervision with limited decision-making authority.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Cash handling experience in banking, cash office, or retail setting is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Exemplary organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to follow precise directions and operate teller equipment is necessary.
