Position Overview

Elmington Property Management is in search of a committed Maintenance Turn Specialist to oversee the readiness of units for incoming residents at our esteemed properties.

Your Role: As the Maintenance Turn Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that units are primed for new occupants by executing essential repairs and collaborating with our network of service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare units by removing leftover items, conducting drywall repairs, painting, and performing minor plumbing and electrical tasks.
  • Manage supply orders while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with contracted vendors as authorized by the Community Director.
  • Maintain clear communication with residents and colleagues, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Address service requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize computers and other technology to access company software and communications.
  • Adhere to Elmington's standards regarding service work orders and unit turnovers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain the property's physical condition.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
  • Availability to respond to urgent issues outside of regular hours when needed.
  • Accurate time reporting by clocking in and out appropriately.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
