Elmington Property Management is in search of a committed Turn Technician to oversee the preparation of residential units for incoming tenants. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our properties, including Artemis Midtown, Ellis at Germantown, and The Eastland.
Your Role: As a Turn Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that units are ready for new residents by executing various maintenance and repair tasks while collaborating with our network of service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare units by removing leftover items, repairing drywall, painting, and performing minor plumbing and electrical tasks.
- Manage supply orders within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with approved contractors as directed by the Community Director.
- Maintain effective communication with residents and team members, even in challenging situations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Address service requests efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize technology for email communication and software applications.
- Adhere to Elmington's standards for service work orders and unit turnovers.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to maintain the property’s physical condition.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
- Availability to respond to urgent issues outside of regular hours.
- Accurate timekeeping by clocking in and out as required.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
