As part of our Mission Critical group, you will work alongside a talented team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and construction managers, focusing on the design of advanced data centers and telecommunications facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers to develop creative design solutions throughout all project phases.
  • Engage with clients, owners, and contractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Design mechanical systems for air handling, including direct expansion (DX) and chilled water air handling units, along with ductwork sizing.
  • Develop water-side mechanical systems, such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated piping.
  • Conduct HVAC load calculations and ensure project phasing plans are in place to maintain services in operational facilities.
  • Facilitate facility evaluations, engineering studies, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to foster professional growth.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and hold a Professional Mechanical Engineer license in at least one state. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the Mission Critical field, is required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360 is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
