Job Summary

The Event Coordinator is a key member of the Seakeeper team, responsible for coordinating regional, OEM, Dealer, and tournament event schedules, logistics, and display equipment. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal departments to develop, maintain, and communicate a regional event schedule
  • Ensure the Seakeeper brand is represented at a high level of quality and in a consistent manner nationally
  • Approve, book, negotiate, and contract booth space to ensure Seakeeper has an ideal location at all events
  • Organize the execution of regional events, including coordinating show orders, shipping logistics, and travel accommodations
  • Manage booths on-site prior to, during, and post-event, negotiating and contracting vendors' services
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure events and elements of sponsorship packages are executed on brand and reflect company objectives
  • Oversee lead collection during events, ensuring proper lead collection material is available, and communicating leads to the appropriate teams post-event
  • Coordinate storage, inventory, shipping & logistics of Seakeeper display materials nationally
  • Determine, monitor, track, and adhere to event budgets
  • Develop new display equipment and material
  • Submit expense reports and purchase orders through NetSuite
  • Ensure all events align with company and sales strategy, and provide feedback to the team on participation where suggestions do not align
  • Maintain Display Assets list to account for the current location of each unit as they move from event to event

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant event coordination experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both internationally and domestically, plus availability to work some weekends and evenings as needed
  • Be professional, responsive, resourceful, flexible, and have masterful organizational skills
  • Able to work with multiple teams, internally and externally
  • Experience with project management and juggling multiple projects at once
  • Be flexible and able to maintain composure with a positive attitude in stressful, ever-changing environments
  • Be able to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Be self-motivated with unquestionable integrity and have superior time management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Be a self-sufficient problem solver who takes pride in their work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the marine industry and/or an interest in boating
  • Experience specifically in Wrike or other project management tools
  • Experience in Lead Liaison or other lead generation tools
