Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine patrols and maintenance safety checks of the building and parking areas.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and control access to the facility, including visitor and employee identification.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on security best practices and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in hospital security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
