Job Summary

This internship position is focused on supporting the delivery of business intelligence and insights to Compass Group, North America's operators and partners. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics to develop business performance reporting & dashboards, trend analysis, and measure key business initiatives to help drive the business and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance reporting standards and formats for partner and operator end use
  • Analyze and build optimal solutions around specific business needs (labor, speed of service, menu concentration)
  • Assess new business initiatives to measure success and provide recommendations
  • Focus of role will be during peak business season with majority of work to be completed in a fast-paced business environment
Requirements:
  • Earning a degree in business strategy, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Experience using an array of analytical tools for data analysis and visualization including Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau
  • Can share examples of using data to solve complex business problems
