Candidates must possess a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and methodologies, including military network and communications systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate military networks to meet operational mission objectives.
  • Configure network devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
  • Understand network monitoring and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop and present briefings to Army, Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T), and Unit personnel regarding current status of Systems Engineering and Network Architecture planning, and/or test efforts.
Requirements:
  • Security + certification.
  • Knowledge of WIN-T INC 2 systems, including the WIN-T INC 2 Node Management Software (NMS) suite, McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS), SNMPc Online, Solarwinds Orion, Cisco Secure Access Control Server and Radius.
  • Ability to develop basic scripts and analyze collected data elements.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems and an understanding of military mission command applications (e.g., JCR/BFT-II, TIGR, CPOF, AFATDs).
