Electrical Systems Engineer

Magna International is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of safety devices for operators, diagnosing electrical issues, and recommending repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Manufacturing Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
- Automation Assembly Expertise: Utilize expertise in automation assembly technologies to design, implement, and maintain efficient manufacturing processes.
- Training and Development: Provide training to team members on robot interfacing, PLC programming, and other relevant skills.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations, and create a safe work environment for all.
- Education: High school diploma or GED, with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in PLCs, robot programming, and electrical systems, strong interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, and organizational abilities.
The successful candidate will be required to work in different plant locations and shifts, and will be exposed to various elements and safety precautions. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stand, and perform physical tasks is also required.
