Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Danone Foods, Inc. in Minster, Ohio.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment, using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Install and replace equipment parts, as needed
  • Monitor and maintain production lines, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize production processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair work, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
