Job Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities, and ensuring that manufacturing runs efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing the production team, maintaining production schedules, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and optimizing the use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
  • Supervise and manage the production team, training, and evaluating staff.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to keep the production process competitive.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production activities, performance metrics, and project statuses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production management role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and resource management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in production management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
