Nurse Aide/Allied Health Adjunct Instructor

Paul D. Camp Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Aide/Allied Health Adjunct Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be committed to academic excellence, continuous improvement through professional development, assessment, program and course development, and creating a collegiate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Nurse Aide and Allied Health programs
  • Teach clinical skills in the campus Skills Laboratory and didactic instruction
  • Evaluate and record student progress and confer at the end of each rotation and midterm
  • Maintain a climate conducive to learning and establish cooperative relationships with staff and personnel of clinical agencies
  • Provide instruction in clinical skills and didactic instruction
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse who holds a current unrestricted license in Virginia or a multi-state licensure privilege
  • At least 5 years of experience in nursing and 1 year in long-term care
  • Ability to travel to all campuses and various learning facilities
  • Commitment to the Mission and Vision of Paul D. Camp Community College
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience or experience as a Nurse Aide instructor
