As a key member of our global software support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support for our software products worldwide.

Our software support team provides assistance for a wide range of ifm local and cloud software, hardware, network, and server infrastructure technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide worldwide customer support for ifm software products.
  • Prepare internal user instructions/documentation/procedures for the Support Team.
  • Document, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents and requests through to completion.
  • Customer support for ifm Cloud environment including troubleshooting, monitoring, patching and installation.
  • Customer support for on-premise software solutions including troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, installation, upgrades and disaster recovery (backup and restore).
  • Help improve the software quality by solving recurring support issues and working together with Product Management.
  • Some travel to international locations required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is a plus.
  • 5 years or more of technical support experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms in an industrial environment a plus.
  • Experience working with SCADA software or other in an industrial environment a plus.
  • Experience working with Linux Environments in an industrial environment a plus.
  • Experience installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and other related solutions.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the company.
  • An enthusiastic, positive, and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to international destinations for training and other purposes.

Salary range starts at $90,000 and upward based on relevant skills and experience.
