About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing advanced machine learning and AI models to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art generative AI and large language models for e-commerce data analysis and insights generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into our advertising ecosystem and drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality machine learning models and algorithms to optimize ad relevance and conversion rates.
  • Conduct extensive A/B testing and experimentation to validate the performance of new AI models and algorithms.
  • Work closely with company leadership, product managers, and system engineers to refine and deploy new AI models and algorithms.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics or related field, with a strong background in machine learning and AI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, Scala, or R programming languages, as well as open-source frameworks such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and a commitment to creating inclusive digital experiences.
