Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data integration technologies that support user queries, dashboards, applications, and data analysis.

You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and database management team to create a next-generation data infrastructure that meets the needs of our internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver data as a service, ensuring consistency, durability, availability, and performance of datastores across a wide variety of applications and services
  • Develop and implement data processing and analytics pipelines
  • Develop and maintain data analysis tools for scripting and automation, parameter extraction, exploration, and data visualization
  • Provide data pipeline support to R&D, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and software development teams
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement data processing frameworks and automation opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Work closely with source data owners, software engineers, data scientists, and database administrators to build a next-generation data infrastructure
  • Serve data to internal stakeholders such as application developers, technology development teams, and battery teams
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience working with Snowflake
  • 5+ years experience working with on-premise and cloud-hosted SQL Server databases
  • Experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Experience working with event-driven data pipelines
  • Experience with Python, Fivetran, Debezium, Kafka, HiveMQ, SQL
  • Knowledge of data lake architecture and data lake management
  • Knowledge of data governance and data management practices
  • Bonus experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
