Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive test plans to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include:
  • Test Strategy Formulation: Design and implement a thorough testing strategy that encompasses all facets of the modernization initiative. Develop detailed test plans, scripts, and execution methodologies to ensure extensive coverage of all features and functionalities.
  • Automation Development: Create and deploy automated testing plans to enhance testing efficiency. Utilize Azure DevOps for automation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to synchronize testing activities with overarching project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Supervise all testing phases to ensure software quality and adherence to specifications. Manage defect tracking and resolution processes to uphold high standards of software reliability and performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, outcomes, and metrics. Provide regular updates on testing progress, challenges, and results to project stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate testing processes and tools for potential enhancements. Stay informed about new testing methodologies and technologies to boost testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Testing Implementation: Plan and execute various testing types (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for both new and existing functionalities.
  • Problem Resolution: Document all issues and assist in their resolution, collaborating closely with development teams to design effective testing strategies.
  • User Acceptance Testing Support: Facilitate user acceptance testing conducted by clients.
  • Innovative Solutions: Research, recommend, and implement cutting-edge testing technologies and practices.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in developing and conducting testing processes across various systems and user units.
  • At least 3 years of prior management or supervisory experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake is preferred.
