Job Description

Maverc Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to support one of our State Agency customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Formal Test Plans: Design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Define and Track Quality Assurance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance processes.
  • Coordinate Testing Activities: Collaborate with project stakeholders to plan, execute, and report on testing activities.
  • Manage Defect Tracking and Resolution Processes: Identify, track, and resolve defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Report on Testing Progress and Outcomes: Provide regular updates on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Implement Testing for New and Existing Functionality: Develop and execute test plans for new and existing software features.
  • Research and Implement New Testing Technologies: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and execute testing activities to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and experience with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Leadership and Proactive Issue Management: Provide leadership and proactive issue management to ensure the quality of software applications.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Desired Experience: Experience in a DevOps environment and knowledge of Informatica IICS and Snowflake.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Decision-Making Ability: Make informed decisions to ensure the quality of software applications.

Work Environment:

Onsite 3 days a week.
