Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will perform a variety of tasks under close supervision, following detailed work instructions that require limited judgment and decision-making to complete.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is running smoothly.
  • Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking to optimize production efficiency.
  • Train employees in the operation and maintenance of machinery to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • May train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants to ensure seamless workflow.
  • May provide assistance in troubleshooting non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  • May be required to work overtime to meet production demands.
  • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy to ensure a safe working environment.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge Requirements
  • Able to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Use of basic and special-purpose hand tools and leveling instruments, including knowledge of torque specifications.
  • Basic mathematics.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and other component value markings.
  • Understanding of safety practices requirements.
  • Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
  • Use of specialized maintenance tracking programs.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associates degree in electronics with an emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent discipline.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be substituted.
  • Zero to two (2) years of work-related experience required, preferably in electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
