Job Overview

NSG, Inc. is actively searching for committed and observant Safety Officers to become part of our team for the first and second shifts at a residential facility. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring a secure and protected environment for our clients and their residents.

Work Schedule:

Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Totaling 40 hours per week)

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive hourly wage: $16.00.
  • Weekly payments every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors at the facility's front desk.
  • Promptly reporting any incidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Upholding site security by addressing violations of policies or procedures.
  • Providing a visible and reassuring presence to deter potential security threats.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Independent transportation arrangements (no parking provided).
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in operating radio or telephone communication equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Professional and courteous interaction with the public.
