Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze customer specifications while coordinating input from various departments to develop bids that meet customer requirements.
  • Simultaneously manage information on multiple projects and adapt effectively to changing priorities.
  • Collaborate with business development, project, and financial personnel to define the appropriate scope that aligns with customer and company needs.
  • Prepare cost estimates for new bids and contract modifications.
  • Utilize engineering data, drawings, and customer specifications to create comprehensive cost estimates and requests for quotations for component purchases.
  • Draft complete proposal documents and revise contract documents as necessary.
  • Compile data for reporting on contract scope, terms, costs, and profitability to management.
  • Adhere to established compliance procedures and suggest improvements where applicable.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant systems and products, including the Paper Quality Control System and related innovations.
  • Participate in meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
  • Engage in troubleshooting technical issues and establishing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare summary reports as required, which may involve occasional travel.

Your Background:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Paper Quality Control and/or Web Imaging Systems. Alternatively, an Associate degree with 7 years of experience or a High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience will be considered.

Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
