Position Summary:
We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician to maintain and service HVAC systems for effective cooling, heating, and ventilation in various buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems.
  • Provide technical assistance for new chiller installations, including startup and commissioning.
  • Educate and train clients on the proper use of their HVAC systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding service findings to ensure satisfaction.
  • Track service calls and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding our products and equipment, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by being available for overtime and weekend work as required.
  • Keep management informed about customer satisfaction, potential sales opportunities, and recurring issues.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to a safety-first approach in all operations.

Qualifications:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with 2+ years of HVAC experience or formal training.
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring regular use of hands, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Candidates must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. frequently, and occasionally more than 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including weather changes and exposure to mechanical parts.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends as necessary.
  • Capability to interpret plans, diagrams, and flow charts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics is essential.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices, with a commitment to using personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Preferred certifications include EPA and OSHA.
