Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitator to lead yoga sessions tailored for both adult and adolescent programs within our Integrative Therapies department. This role is essential in promoting wellness through trauma-aware practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct 2-4 trauma-informed yoga sessions daily in inpatient or residential settings, aligning with the core philosophy of our organization.
- Ensure timely and professional completion of group documentation using our electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate on special projects and research initiatives within the Integrative Therapies department.
- Work closely with treatment teams and other departments to provide holistic care.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Completion of a recognized 200-hour yoga teacher training program.
- Certification in trauma-aware yoga training (e.g., TCTSY, TSHY, HaRT, or similar).

Experience:
- At least one year of experience in a mental health environment.

Licensure/Certification:
- 200-hour YTT certification.
- Certification in trauma training.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of yoga and anatomy, particularly concerning clients with eating disorders and physical limitations.
- Familiarity with psychiatric group dynamics, therapeutic relationships, and age-appropriate yoga practices.
- Competence in behavior management and crisis intervention in group settings.

Core Competencies:
- Excellent group leadership abilities.
- An informed approach to physical movement concerning eating disorders.
- Capacity to manage diverse groups with varying needs and abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
