Job Overview

Primary Duties:

  • Proficiently interpret written assembly instructions, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure high-quality assembly with minimal rework.
  • Assemble various components and products, ensuring thorough cleaning, inspection, and testing to adhere to established timelines.
  • Request clarification when instructions are ambiguous and maintain focus on assigned tasks throughout the workday.
  • Uphold a safe and organized workspace by following all operational procedures and safety regulations.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance production capabilities.

Additional Duties:

  • Achieve company benchmarks for productivity and quality while complying with established policies and procedures.
  • Follow workplace conduct standards as defined by the organization.

This role may include other responsibilities as designated by the organization.

Physical Requirements:

Employees should possess good hand-eye coordination and the dexterity to handle small components. The role may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs. Exposure to chemicals and noise may be present in the work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Preferred background in mechanical, electrical, or optical assembly within a manufacturing context.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborative skills and commitment to quality assurance.
