About the Role

World Wide Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Safety Program, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement effective safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Resource and Culture Promoter: Foster a culture of safety awareness and promote a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Written Safety Plans and Procedures: Assist in the development and continuous improvement of written safety plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Identify and resolve safety-related issues and problems, using sound judgment and analytical skills.
  • Safety Training and Development: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Analyze and compile safety data, generating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Advanced safety and compliance concepts, hazard identification, root cause analysis, OSHA standard interpretation, and domestic and international occupational health and safety standards.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E Arch Flash Certification, OSHA 10, and COSS.
