Validation Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at HIGHPOWER Validation Testing & Lab Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely data, and maintaining a high level of quality in our testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Collaboration and Communication: Interface directly with Study Directors and/or Laboratory Manager to ensure accurate, technically competent work and optimum utilization of laboratory resources.
- Documentation and Data Management: Complete paperwork daily for studies in progress to ensure accurate and timely data, and maintain a laboratory notebook or miscellaneous data forms with explanations of any procedures or information related to studies.
- Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Use and assist in the maintenance of autoclaves, low temperature sterilizers, washers, data analyzing equipment, data loggers, and other lab equipment, including daily cleaning, data charting, monthly calibrations, and validations.
- Supply Management and Inventory: Assist in the requisitioning of laboratory supply orders, receiving supplies, and maintaining inventory records.
- Training and Development: Attend internal and ISO 17025 training/departmental meetings to review SOPs and proper laboratory procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all paperwork produced has been reviewed and is accurate and technically correct to the best of their ability.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree in the Biological Sciences or equivalent work experience is desired.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills, computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and the use of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of ISO 17025, 13485, 9001, or FDA/GMP Quality systems is a plus.
