Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
Host Healthcare is seeking an experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technician for a travel allied job in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stenting
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
