Job Description:
The Pharmacy Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures, and leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and experience in managing pharmacy teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide high-quality patient care
- Analyze and report pharmacological and disease management information
- Consult with physicians and other clinicians to provide expertise on pharmacy-related issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Minimum five years' experience as a registered pharmacist, with at least two years prior supervisory and management experience
- Oncology background preferred
