Oncology Provider Role

Job Summary
We are offering a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year for this full-time position, which will support the Oncology Department at our Round Rock location with monthly travel to Harker Heights. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist and will be responsible for providing direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with practice physicians.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide diagnosis and treatment to patients, including documentation of visits, patient education, ordering diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, managing symptoms, counseling, and supporting patients and families.
- Collaboration: Work interdependently with collaborative physicians and teams, using Electronic Health Records to complete documentation according to Texas Oncology policy and guidelines.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships across the organization and local medical community.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Perform procedures as appropriate.
- Education and Training: Participate in tumor board, institutional trainings, and meetings as required.
