Job Title: Labor and Employment Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on labor and employment matters
  • Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including conducting investigations and presenting cases in court
  • Negotiate and draft employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in labor and employment law
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues
  • Provide training and education to clients on labor and employment law issues
  • Manage and oversee the work of junior attorneys and support staff
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida
  • A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on labor and employment law
  • Proven experience as a 1st chair attorney, including significant trial experience
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise clients accordingly
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
