About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Boston, United States. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our production processes, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing daily production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. They will analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

This role requires strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large-scale operational teams. The Production Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing production strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Manage and coordinate daily production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels
  • Develop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve performance goals
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in production management or a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large-scale operational teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in production management software and MS Office suite
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to meeting production deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
