Journeyman Electrician Supervisor Job Summary

As a Journeyman Electrician Supervisor at CBRE, you will lead a team of electrical professionals to ensure effective scheduling, dispatching, and execution of all hard services maintenance. Your role will be responsible for delivering efficient service, maximizing technician productivity, and minimizing customer business interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and leadership to the electrical field service team to ensure efficient and safe electrical maintenance of client locations.
  • Develop a detailed daily workforce schedule by technician crew, ensuring all skills, requirements, and resource availability are met.
  • Manage and guide technical training requirements, including competency assessments, critical services training, and scenario training exercises.
  • Communicate with clients and facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance opportunities to expand contract scope.
  • Manage/host on-site activities of subcontractors performing hard services, train, test, and authorize individuals for competency related to job requirements.
  • Oversee account electrical apprenticeship programs.
  • Be available on-call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance or emergency response to the facility as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements, maintain and submit all records and documents to proper authorities for audit purposes.
  • Review all work and assure performance in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Participate in scheduling meetings with operational partners/customers to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.
  • Maintain accurate metrics on the performance of maintenance tasks and provide timely reports to the Site Manager.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with EHS and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMMS systems (demonstrated knowledge of MS Office and MS Project highly desirable).
  • Oregon State General Journeyman license at time of hire is required. General Supervising Electrician License is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
