KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct corporate month-end closing activities, including the preparation and review of reconciliations and journal entries.
2. Generate monthly consolidated financial statements, incorporating elimination and inter-company entries.
3. Prepare various financial reports and engage in ad hoc projects as necessary.
4. Provide assistance to fellow accountants within the department as needed.
5. Collaborate with internal and external auditors by supplying necessary documentation and information.
6. Analyze, review, and communicate financial data that reflects actual performance against budgetary expectations.
7. Maintain accounting records, investigate transactions, and compile reports.
8. Execute regular accounting functions that necessitate professional expertise.
9. Document accounting procedures and transactions for future financial management and auditing purposes.
10. Review, refine, and update the company’s financial policies and procedures.
11. Offer recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness while identifying potential control weaknesses and proposing solutions to fortify controls.
12. Serve as a representative of the company in communications with external contacts and agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent professional background.
- Familiarity with accounting practices for multi-entity organizations with intercompany transactions is preferred.
- Capability to manage moderately complex accounting tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in accounting software and systems; experience with Hyperion and/or One Stream is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
- Comprehensive understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and internal customer service abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
