Acts as a liaison between practice management and hospital administration, representing the practice's interests.
Fosters strong relationships with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.
Promotes a unified identity within Thompson Health.
Ensures adherence to regulatory standards.
Facilitates patient management and exemplifies role modeling that aligns practice objectives with health system goals.
Prioritizes the best interests of patients.
Supports the health system in achieving strategic objectives.
Essential Job Competencies:
Demonstrated proficiency in outpatient clinical medicine.
Must possess the ability to evaluate data reflecting the patient's condition, interpret relevant information to identify each patient's needs based on age-specific requirements, and deliver appropriate care.
Exhibits knowledge necessary to provide care suitable for the patient's age, including understanding growth and development principles throughout the lifespan.Ability to cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with all office staff and healthcare providers.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with hospital leadership.
Lead a patient-centered practice effectively.
Knowledge of recognized best practices in patient care within the department.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge and implements programs to comply with evolving regulatory requirements.
Consistent excellence in communication with patients and staff.
Demonstrates leadership qualities and professional conduct consistently.
Safeguards confidential and protected information.
Open to receiving feedback from colleagues and patients/families.
Produces clear, meaningful, comprehensive, and timely (within 2 business days of service) patient care records sufficient for all patient care, regulatory, billing, and other medical record uses.
Responsible for ensuring all professional licenses, registrations, liability insurance, education, renewal requirements, and applicable certifications are current as required for employment.
Qualifications:
NYS certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
AANP Board Certification
DEA license required.
Ability to obtain appropriate FFTH privileges.
Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred.
Education:
Graduation from an AMA accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Meets continuing education requirements of the relevant discipline board.
Experience:
Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Previous experience in primary care medicine preferred.
Salary Range:
$114,000-$134,000 based on experience
