Job Title: Quality Engineer

Azure Summit Technology is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our electronic systems and products.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, documentation, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of our quality program to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, including PCB analysis, investigation, and disposition.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of board lots, work orders, and quality metrics to track process improvements and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with our standards.
  • Participate in the development and review of project documentation, including inspection plans, first article inspection, and final product inspection.
  • Support internal audits to assess compliance with standards and the internal quality system.
  • Provide trending analysis on quality issues and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • US citizenship due to the nature of the work and contract requirement.
  • Ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance due to the nature of the work and contract requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within an ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10 years or more experience working within an ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS environment.
  • Superb organizational and interpersonal skills, understanding and operation of quality management systems, supplier verification and improvement, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, and ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices.
